In 1994, the work "Cicada Song" was selected for the "Exhibition of Chinese Arts and Crafts Masters' Works" and collected by the China National Arts and Crafts Museum.
In 2004, the work "Prosperity of Wealth" won the gold medal at the 4th (Hangzhou) International Folk Handicraft Exhibition.
In July 2005, the chicken blood stone carving "The Achievement Picture of King Qian" was collected as a treasure of Chinese arts and crafts and collected at the China National Arts and Crafts Museum.
In 2006, the work "The Legend of Chicken Blood Stone" won the gold medal at the 7th China Arts and Crafts Masters Fine Arts Exhibition.

On September 8, 2023, Qian Gaochao served as the 8th torchbearer for the Hangzhou leg of the 19th Asian Games torch relay.
